Eligibility Criteria

The following criteria must be met by each applicant to be considered for the International PhD Scholarships at the University of Sydney, Australia:

  • Candidates should possess a Master’s degree with a significant research component in a related social science field, such as Indonesian Studies, Policy Studies, Public Health, Sociology, Law, or Asian Studies, or an undergraduate degree with high honors (First Class), a first class honours equivalent undergraduate degree, or both.
  • Candidates with an undergraduate degree who additionally have significant work and research experience may also be taken into consideration.
  • Candidates must be prepared to work with Dr. Elisabeth Kramer and Professor Simon Butt to undertake research on opioid usage in Indonesia and related policy issues.

Application Procedure
